When things don't go as planned

If you feel like things are out of your control and you need something to hold on to, here are two simple and healthy things you can control.

I tried the egg challenge, but it didn't go as planned...

Sometimes things don't go as planned, and it's completely out of our control: this last year definitely didn't go as planned! So here are some things, when you're feeling overwhelmed that you can control.

Number one, you can control your breathing. Slow it down, relax, there's so many breathing methods out there.

The second thing you can control is what you consume. Physically, you can control what you consume, as in don't eat loads of junk food and sugar, try and drink more water. But mentally, you can also control what you consume… if you spend a lot of time on TikTok or YouTube, afterwards you might feel really down and insecure because you're constantly comparing yourself to other people. Try and replace certain pages or accounts that you follow with something a little bit more positive. This might not solve the problems, but it'll definitely help you cope in a more healthy way.
