Yup- guys this one's for YOU!

This week is Men's Health Week and whether you're 15 or 115, there's stuff we all face occasionally that can be T.O.U.G.H. We'll be hearing from a range of voices this week, sharing tips, advice and helpful thoughts on how to navigate life as a guy and respond to some of the challenges out there!

So you're on TikTok, you're on social media, and there's so much comparison going around on a platform that was really meant to connect us.

We're not supposed to be looking at other people's videos, wishing that we were them or had their lives. We're meant to be inspired, connect with people, be able to ask them questions, be able to get advice, to be able to get some cool ideas.

This is what social media is all about, but comparison, you've heard it said before, is the thief of joy. And so why is that? And I think it's because when we compare ourselves to other people, we put ourselves on their journey and stop focusing on our own journey.

For example, if you're a creative person and you're doing something like writing music, and you're looking at other musicians that are having a lot of success and you start comparing, instead of just drawing inspiration or ideas, then you might compromise your authentic gift and your sound. If you're looking to get fit and work out and you see all these guys pushing around big weights, then if you try to do the same thing immediately, you can easily get hurt and comparison does hurt us.

So focus on you, your authentic self, and don't compare.
