How do see the good in each day when life feels chaotic or just TOUGH at times? Reuben gives us three things we can do everyday to help us focus on the good and not feel overwhelmed by the bad stuff.
Hello everybody and Happy Men's Mental Health Week. As men we don't always prioritise self care, but something that a mentor said to me a few years ago has really stuck with me.
And that's to find something you enjoy in every single day. So, every day I go by myself with my dog and we go for a short walk. And while I walk, I ask myself these three questions:
- What has been a highlight of the day?
- What has been a challenge today?
- And what is something that I want to accomplish before the day is over?
And doing these things really helps me to just stay focused and centred for the rest of the day. So give that a shot. Find something you enjoy in every single day and meditate on those three questions.
